Evidence, proof and selling tools for Agent Autonomy Lease
Level 1 Beginner: understand it
Each agent works under a signed lease: level, total budget, expiry. Every action is checked against it.
The agent cannot renew or widen its own lease; small purchases are added up; misbehaving agents are demoted automatically.
Think of it like this: A rental car agreement: who may drive, how far, until when. The driver cannot rewrite the agreement, and the mileage adds up whether you drive in one trip or twenty.

Level 2 User: see it work
Run it live: open the live demo. Before each result, guess what will happen. These are checks it must pass:
- Control: work inside the lease: Reads, writes and a $30 purchase inside a human-signed level-3 lease: all allowed.
- The agent signs itself a level-5 lease with a huge budget: Self-renewal, an unknown key, and a human lease edited after signing are all refused.
- Many small $45 purchases that add up: The budget is cumulative: the purchase that crosses $200 is refused (the 'salami' trick).
- A sub-agent asks for more power than its parent: Delegation can only shrink a lease. A bigger child lease is refused; a smaller one is granted.
- Repeated violations lower the agent's level: Three refused actions drop the lease from level 3 to 2, so spending is refused afterwards.
Level 3 Verifier: prove it yourself
This is the skill that sets you apart: you don't have to believe us, and neither do your customers.
- Install Python 3 if you don't have it (python.org/downloads).
- Download the kit and unzip it.
- Open a terminal in that folder. On Windows, click the folder's address bar, type
cmdand press Enter. On a Mac, right-click the folder and choose New Terminal at Folder. - Run
python3 verify.py(on Windows, python verify.py). It checks the seal without the internet. - Run
python3 verify.py --live. It repeats every check from your own computer. - Try to cheat it: open
transcript.jsonin a text editor, change one character, save, and runpython3 verify.pyagain. It must now say FAIL. Unzip a fresh copy afterward.
Level 4 Expert: know the edges
An expert knows what a product does not do, and says it first. That is what makes a buyer trust you.
- It governs the actions sent to it; an action that skips the check is not governed.
- The demo signs leases itself. In production a person's own key signs them.
- Levels and budgets are what the operator sets; a too-generous lease is still too generous.
You can say
- A person signs the lease; the agent cannot renew or widen it.
- Spending is cumulative.
- Delegation only shrinks.
Never say
- "Stops every rogue agent".
- "Works on actions it is not shown".
