Evidence, proof and selling tools for Data-Exfiltration Killswitch
Level 1 Beginner: understand it
It watches how much data agents send out, and when.
An abnormal burst cuts the agent off in milliseconds, with a signed record.
Think of it like this: A bank card that freezes when it sees a huge withdrawal at 3 a.m.

Level 2 User: see it work
Run it live: open the live demo. Before each result, guess what will happen. These are checks it must pass:
- 1 MB export at 3 a.m.: Under the off-hours limit: allowed.
- 4 MB export at 3 a.m.: Still under 5 MB: allowed.
- 10 MB export at 2 p.m.: Daytime, under the 50 MB burst limit: allowed.
- 10 MB export at 3 a.m.: Off-hours bulk export: tripped.
- 50 MB bulk export at 3 a.m.: The classic overnight data grab: tripped.
- 60 MB burst in the afternoon: Over the single-burst limit at any hour: tripped.
Level 3 Verifier: prove it yourself
This is the skill that sets you apart: you don't have to believe us, and neither do your customers.
- Install Python 3 if you don't have it (python.org/downloads).
- Download the kit and unzip it.
- Open a terminal in that folder. On Windows, click the folder's address bar, type
cmdand press Enter. On a Mac, right-click the folder and choose New Terminal at Folder. - Run
python3 verify.py(on Windows, python verify.py). It checks the seal without the internet. - Run
python3 verify.py --live. It repeats every check from your own computer. - Try to cheat it: open
transcript.jsonin a text editor, change one character, save, and runpython3 verify.pyagain. It must now say FAIL. Unzip a fresh copy afterward.
Level 4 Expert: know the edges
An expert knows what a product does not do, and says it first. That is what makes a buyer trust you.
- It watches volume and timing; a slow leak in small pieces needs other controls (budgets, gates).
- Thresholds are settings; the demo's 50 MB and 5 MB are examples.
- It must sit in the agent's outbound path to see the traffic.
You can say
- Abnormal bursts trip it in milliseconds.
- Normal transfers pass.
- Each trip has a signed record.
Never say
- "Stops every leak": slow small leaks need other controls.

In the live check "10 MB export at 3 a.m.", what answer must come back, and why?
true. Off-hours bulk export: tripped.
In the live check "50 MB bulk export at 3 a.m.", what answer must come back, and why?
true. The classic overnight data grab: tripped.
In the live check "60 MB burst in the afternoon", what answer must come back, and why?
true. Over the single-burst limit at any hour: tripped.
Does a passing kit prove the product is safe for every possible input?
No. It proves what the live product answered to the inputs listed in the kit, and lets anyone check that again.
Has an independent party audited or certified this product?
